Htc Factory Reset HTC Desire
Htc Factory Reset HTC Desire
How to Factory Reset HTC Desire:
The HTC Desire is vastly customizable and you have been hard at work tweaking it to your liking, but now the fun is over and you want to return it to its factory settings once more. Here, we show you how to factory reset the HTC Desire with one after one direction.
Please keep in mind that all data will be erased from the HTC Desire as a result of this process. This process does NOT remove data stored on the microSD card. We advised backing up all of your important personal data before going on.
- Switch off the phone. If your HTC Desire is frozen, remove the battery out and after sometimes reinsert it
- Press the Volume Down button
- Press and release the Power button
- You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
- Select Clear Storage by holding the Volume Down button
- Press and release the Power button
- Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO
If you select YES, all data including third-party applications will be removed from the HTC Desire. After the procedure the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.
